BLACK BEAN BRIYANI

  1. Basmati Rice-2 cups
  2. Water-3 cups
  3. Oil-3 teaspoon
  4. Cashew nuts-10 to 12
  5. Cinnamon sticks-3
  6. Bay leaf-2
  7. Cardamom-2 to 3
  8. Cloves -4
  9. Onion-2
  10. Tomato-1
  11. Ginger garlic paste-1/2 teaspoon
  12. Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
  13. Coriander leaf and mint leaves
  14. Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
  15. Black bean-1 cup
  16. Biryani masala-1 1/2 teaspoon (Aachi /Shakhi)
  17. Chilli powder-1/2 teaspoon
  18. Salt -to taste

Preparation Method
Soak black bean for overnight and pressure cook it for 3 to 4 whistles

Soak rice for half n hour. Cut onion, tomato, coriander and mint leaves.

Heat  the oil in a pan and add cashew nuts, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves and cumin seeds

Add onion and salt and sauté till it becomes golden brown

Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. Sauté it till the raw smell goes off.

Add tomato, chilli powder, briyani masala and fry it well.

Add coriander and mint leaves

Add black bean and mix it well and sauté it for another 5 mins. Mix the whole mixture with the soaked rice and switch ON the electric rice cooker.

Black Bean Briyani is ready to serve.

if u have pressure cooker, then cook it for 1 whistle and simmer it for 5 mins to prepare  briyani.
