Onion-2
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
chilli powder-1 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves-1 sprig
Salt – to taste
To Temper
Oil- 3 tsp
Mustard and Urad dal- 1 1/2 tsp
Method
Wash and pressure cook the potatoes for 4 to 5 whistles.Peel off the skin and cut the potatoes.
Chop the onion in lengthwise.Heat the pan with oil and add mustard and urad dal.When it is spluttered add onion and saute it with little salt till it comes transparent.
Add turmeric,chilli powder and add the chopped pototoes in to it immediately.Fry it for few minutes.
Mix it well in a medium flame and finally add salt and curry leaves.
Potato Masala is ready to serve.
