SIMPLE WHEAT DOSA

                             
 Wheat dosa is a very good choice for emergencies. It can be prepared within a short period and it does not need more ingredients. It is tasty and easy to prepare. It is well going with coconut chutney,sambar,Idly podi.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • Onion – 1 (Big)
  • Green chili – 2(small)
  • Ginger – 1 inch piece
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste

Method of preparation

1.Chop onion,green chili,ginger finely as shown in the figure

2.Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. When it spluttered, Add curry leaves, chopped onion, green chili,ginger one by one. Sauté it till onion turns to brown color.

3.Now in a vessel take 2 cups of wheat flour.

4.Add pinch of salt into it
5.Mix 3 to 4 cups of water till it comes like dosa batter. Small lumps may be formed here and there. Smash it well with hand.

6.Now transfer the contents which we kept in the pan to the above.

7.Mix it well. Now Wheat dosa batter is ready.
8.Heat tawa.Pour the batter from the side of the tawa to center. Now wheat dosa is ready to taste.Serve it with sambar or chutney.
