CARROT HALWA

                           

        Carrot Halwa is very easy to prepare at home. My husband normally not like to eat carrot. But when i prepared carrot halwa ,He had asked me for one more bowl.Now it is one of his favorite sweet.It is a tasty and delicious sweet.Here i was given very simple steps to prepare mouth watering Carrot Halwa.


Ingredients
  • Carrot – 300 g
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts – 4 to 5
  • Cardamom powder – a pinch

Preparation Method

1.Grate the carrots finely as shown in the figure

2.Heat 3 tsp of ghee in a pan.Add the grated carrots and fry for few min

3.Now add 1 cup of milk.Let it allow to boil till it evaporates

4.Then add 1 tbsp of ghee and sugar.Sauté it every now and then.

5.Let it simmer till it leaves the side of the pan.Mix cardamom powder.
6.Fry cashew in 1 tsp of ghee.

7.Garnish carrot halwa with cashews.Now carrot halwa is ready to serve.
