Kuzhi paniyaram is a simplest evening time snack.I am going to use the left over Idli /Dosa Batter. You can add your favorite vegetables if u want.
Ingredients
Idli /Dosa Batter – 1 cup
Onion – 1/2
Green chilli – 2
Grated Ginger – 1/4 teaspoon
Grated Carrot – 2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves
To Temper
Oil – 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard and Urad dal – 1/2 teaspoon
Method
Chop the onion,Green chilli and coriander leaves finely. Grate the carrot and ginger.Heat oil in a pan and temper the ingredients given under the column “To Temper”
Mix the tempered things and other ingredients into the Dosa batter and mix it well. Heat the Kuzhi Paniyara Vessel.Put a drop of oil in it and pour the batter.Let it cook for 1 to 2 minutes in a medium flame.
Flip it over the other side using a spoon and let it cook for another minute.
After a minute remove from the vessel and serve it hot.Tomato chutney is the best combination for Kuzhi Paniyaram.
Kuzhi Paniyaram is now ready to taste.
