SOYA CHUNKS MASALA /MEALMAKER MASALA

  Soya chunks /Meal maker masala is simple and healthy dish. It goes well  with chapatti. Soya chunks is an excellent source of protein. It serves 2 to 3 persons.
Ingredients
Soya chunks/ Meal maker – 2 cups
Onion – 2 (Medium size)
Tomato – 2 (Medium size)
Green chilli – 2(optional)
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1 small teaspoon
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves

Method
Boil the  water and soak the soya chunks for 10 min. then wash it with cold water and squeeze out water from the soya chunks.

Chop onion,tomato and green chilli. Heat oil in a pan  and put cumin seeds then add onion saute it with little salt.

When the onion comes to a transparent add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.Put the tomatoes ,gree chilli and curry leaves.

Add turmeric powder , chilli powder  and salt , saute it well. In the mean time chop the soya chunks in to small pieces or put it in a food processor to chop it (In the Mixer use the pulse mode)

Put the soya chunks in the onion tomato masala  and also add  garam masala, fry it for 5 minutes in a medium flame.

Put some coriander leaves and mix it well.

Soya chunks masala is ready to serve with chapatti.
