Step :1
Clean and rinse venthaiya keerai for 3 to 4 times to remove sand and stains. | |
Step 2:
Chop onion,tomato,venthaiya keerai finely as like shown in the figure. | |
Step 3:
Now grind green chili,ginger like a paste. | |
Step 4:
Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan.Then add chopped onions.Saute it till gets to transparent.Now add chili,ginger paste.Saute it well till raw smell goes out. | |
Step 5:
Now add tomatoes and saute it for few seconds. | |
Step 6:
Now add venthaiya keerai.saute it well till raw smell goes out.Then add chili powder,salt,coriander powder one by one.Extract coconut milk from scrubbed coconut. | |
Step 7:
Clean and rinse rice 3 times and take it in a pressure cooker.Now transfer the contents from pan to pressure cooker.Add 3 cups of water and 1 cup of coconut milk. | |
Step 8:
cook it in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles and let it simmer for 5 minutes. | |
Venthaiya keerai satham is now ready to serve.
