GHEE RICE

Recipe Highlights
Simple and Rich Ghee rice with cashew nuts.Serve the rice with chana masala or your favorite masala.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 25 Mins
Basmati Rice – 1 cup
Water – 1 1/2 cup
Ghee – 2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1 tablespoon
Cashew nuts – 1 tablespoon
Cinnamon sticks - 2
Cardamom seeds - 3
Cloves – 4 to 5
Star anise - 2
Method
Step :1
Soak basmati rice for half n hour.Heat the pressure cooker with ghee and add the cinnamon sticks,  cardamom ,cloves and star anise.Then add cashewnuts and fry , till it becomes golden brown then add cumin seeds.

Step 2: 

Now add the soaked rice and fry it for a minute then add water and salt. Cook this for one whistle and simmer it for 5 minutes,then switch off the flame.

Ghee Rice is now ready to serve IMG_1252
