Step :1
First remove the peel of the skin. | |
Step 2:
Cut the kilangu into pieces as like shown in the figure.The pieces should not be thicken nor thin. | |
Step 3:
Heat exactly 1 cup of water in a pan.add tamarind into it. | |
Step 4:
Then add the senaikilangu pieces .Add turmeric powder and salt into it. | |
Step 5:
Switch off the flame and drain the water while it is cooked (3/4 th level) | |
Step 6:
Now add chili powder,black pepper powder,hing into it.Add 1 tsp of oil into it. | |
Step 7:
Mix it well in a plate. | |
Step 8:
Heat 3 tsp of oil in a tawa,Place the pieces in the tawa.Check if it is well roasted on both sides.Add 1 more tsp of oil for crispiness. | |
Senai kilangu roast is now ready to serve.
