VEGETABLE HOT AND SOUR SOUP

Recipe Highlights
Healthy vegetable hot and sour soup
Ingredients Cooking Time : 20 Mins
Onion – 1/2
Carrot – 1
Beans – 10 to 12
Cabbage – 1/2 cup
Vegetable stock – 3 cups
corn starch – 1 tablespoon
Water – 2 teaspoon
Pepper powder – 1/2 to 1  teaspoon  
Salt - to taste
Lemon juice or vinegar – 1 teaspoon
Garlic cloves - 2
Ginger – small piece
Soy sauce – 2 teaspoon
Oil or butter – 1 tablespoon

Method
Step :1
Finely chop the vegetables as shown in figure.
Heat oil in a pan add onion,ginger and garlic and saute it for a minute.Then add the chopped vegetables and saute them in a medium flame for 5  to 7 minutes till they become soft.
Then add the vegetable stock or water.

Step 2: 
Add soy sauce and stir well.Add salt.
Make a paste of corn starch with little water.
When the soup comes to boil add the corn starch.Allow the soup to thicken.It takes a minute.
Then add pepper powder.Finally add lemon juice or vinegar and stir it, and switch off the flame.
Serve hot.

Vegetable hot and sour soup is now ready to serve.
