PANEER MATAR MASALA

Recipe Highlights
One of the best side dish for chapatti and pulao varieties.It serves 2 to 3 persons.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 45 Mins
Onion-2
Tomato-3
Cashewnuts-10 to 12
Butter or ghee-4 tsp
Cinnamon sticks-3 nos.
Cardamom –3 nos.
Corinader powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Greenpeas – 1 cup
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Bayleaf - 2
Kasoori methi –1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Redchilli powder-1/2 tsp
Fresh cream – 1/4 cup
Red color- a pinch
Paneer-1 pocket
Salt-to taste
Corainder leaves
Orange color – a pinch (optional)

Method
Step :1
Heat the pan with oil and add onion, tomato and cashewnuts.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.
Add chili powder,coriander powder and  cumin powder , fry it for another 5 min.Let them cool down for some minutes and  grind them in to a fine paste.

Step 2: 

Heat another pan with butter or ghee and add cinnamon,cardamom,bay leaf and cumin seeds.Add the grinded paste into it. Add salt to taste.
Add a tsp of crushed kasoori methi and mix it well.
Now add the green peas and let it boil for 5 minutes in a low flame.
Add paneer cubes and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.Finally add fresh cream and garnish it with coriander leaves.

Paneer Mutter Masala is now ready to taste.
