ALOO PARATHA

Recipe Highlights
Aloo stuffed paratha is a healthy paratha.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 30  Mins
Potatoes - 2
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Redchilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander leaves
Salt – to taste

 
For Dough Wheat flour – 1 1/2 cups
oil –as needed
salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Water – as needed

Method
Step :1
Boil the potatoes and peel them.Shred the potatoes or mash it with hands.
Add turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,garam masala powder ,salt and coriander leaves.
You can also add finely chopped onions and green chillies.(Optional)
Mix them together and make lemon sized balls.

Step 2: 

Take a mixing bowl,add wheat flour,salt,oil and water.mix everything and make a soft dough.Let them rest for 15 to 20  minutes.
Divide the dough in to 5 to 6 equal lemon sized balls.
Dust a little flour and roll out the dough into circle.
Keep the stuffing in the center and gather all the corners and seal it.If you have excess dough,then just remove the excess and seal it.

Step 3:

Dust it with little flour and roll it down gently like chapatti.
Heat the pan and put the rolled out paratha.
Spread little oil to all over the paratha and flip it over to the other side.
cook well until brown spots appear on both sides.

Serve hot with pickle and yogurt.

Aloo paratha is now ready to serve.
