Valaipoo vadai/banana flower vadai

Recipe Highlights
Valaipoo vadai is more tasty and healthy too.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 20- 30 Mins
Banana flower/valaipoo- 1 no
Gram dal – 1 cup(100 g)
Onion (Big) - 1
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Garlic – 2
Ginger – 1 inch
Chili – 2 nos
Oil – To fry
Salt to taste


Method
Step :1
Clean the banana flower finely.

Step 2:

soak gram dal in a cup of water for 1 hour.

Step 3:

Now chop banana flower,onion,green chili,ginger into small pieces.

Step 4:

Grind soaked gram dal with fennel seeds and salt.(You have to grind here and there not like a paste)

Step 5:
To this add banana flower,onion,green chili,curry leaves and coriander leaves

Step 6:
Make this into form of vadas in a plastic cover or banana leaf.

Step 7:
Heat oil in a pan.When it is heat,fry the vadas well.

Valaipoo vadai is now ready to serve.
