Shallots - 15 Tomato - 1 Redchillli – 4 Tamarind – small amla size Salt - to taste | To TemperSesame oil – 1 teaspoon Mustard and Urad dal – 1 teaspoon Hing – a pinch Curryleaves – 1 sprig |

Step :1 Put the shallots in a water for 10 minutes.Then remove the skin from the shallots.Cut the tomatoes. Take a mixer put the shallots,tomato,redchilli,tamarind and salt. Grind them in to a fine paste. | |
Step 2: Heat sesame oil in a pan add mustard seeds when it starts to crackle add the urad dal.Then add curryleaves and hing in it. Put the grinded chutney and let them boil in a low flame for 3 to 5 minutes.Switch off the flame. Serve it with Idli / Dosa | |
