BADAM HALWA



Recipe Highlights
Badam Halwa is a very rich indian sweet.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 30 Mins
Badam – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Saffron – a pinch
Milk – 1 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/8 teaspoon


Method
Step :1
Soak almonds for 2 to 3 hours.
Peel off the skin.
Grind the almonds with milk to a coarse paste.

Step 2:

Heat ghee in a pan,add the grinded almond paste and sugar.cook it in a medium flame.Stir it continuously to avoid lumps.Add some saffron and cardamom powder.
Add ghee in regular intervals and keep stirring until the halwa starts leaving the pan and ghee will ooze out.Now the halwa is ready
