METHI PARATHA / METHI CHAPATHI

Healthy breakfast
Ingredients Cooking Time : 25 Mins
Methi leaves -  1 cup
Whole wheat flour – 2 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Oil – as needed
Water – as needed

Method
Step :1
Remove the methi leaves from its stem,wash it and chop it.
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and fry the methi leaves till it reduces.

Step 2:

Take a mixing bowl,add fried methi leaves,whole wheat flour,a teaspoon of oil,salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and mix them well.
Add enough water to make a soft dough.Let them rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 3: 

Make equal sized balls and roll them to chapathi.
Heat the pan and put the paratha,drizzle oil and cook them on both sides till brown spots appear.
Serve hot with pickle and curd.

Methi Paratha is now ready to serve.
