MASALA KARA PORI/ SPICY PUFFED RICE

Healthy evening snack
Ingredients Cooking Time : 10 Mins
Puffed rice – 2cups
Coconut oil –2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Peanuts – 1/4 cup
Hing – a generous pinch
Roasted gram / Pottukadalai – 3 tablespoon
Redchilli – 1 or 2
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Redchilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Crushed Garlic - 5
Salt – to taste
Curry leaves - few

Method
Step :1
Crush the garlic and keep it aside.
Heat coconut oil in a pan.Add redchilli,cumin seeds,roasted gram,peanuts – fry it till they crispy  and golden brown,in a medium flame.

Step 2:

Now add the crushed garlic,curry leaves and fry it for a minute.Reduce the flame to low then Add turmeric powder,chilli powder,hing and salt.Finally add the puffed rice and mix it well till puffed rice becomes crispy.it will take 2 to 3 minutes.
Allow it cool and store it in an airtight container.
