SAMBA WHEAT PUTTU

Ingredients Cooking Time : 15 Mins
Samba Wheat Puttu Podi – 3 cups
Water – as required
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Shredded coconut -  1/4 cup

Method
Step :1
Take a mixing bowl,add puttu flour and salt .
Wet the flour with required water until you can able to hold shape  with the flour.
keep it aside for 5 minutes.
In the puttu maker place some shredded coconut on the bottom and fill it with puttu mixture.
In the pressure cooker add 4 cups of water and close it with lid.On the top of the pressure cooker place the puttu maker and steam it for 10 minutes.
If you don’t have puttu maker,you can use idli cooker to steam the puttu.
Serve it with jaggery or sugar.
