BANANA BREAD (With Egg)



Recipe Highlights
Healthy and easy Banana Bread.I have used wheat flour you can also try it in all purpose flour.Instead butter I used oil.Later i have tried with red banana which also taste good and more healthy.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 60 Mins
Wheat Flour – 1 1/2 cup
Egg -1
Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Oil – 1/4 cup
Banana/Red Banana - 2
Brown sugar or granulated sugar – 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
Walnuts – 1/2 cup (optional)

Method




Step :1
In a large mixing bowl add wheat flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt and mix it well.
Take another bowl, add mashed bananas and yogurt.
Take another bowl, whisk the egg,brown sugar and vanilla extract and add oil and mix it well.

Step 2: 

Now combine the banana mixture with the egg mixture,then add to the flour mixture.Finally add walnuts and mix well.
Grease the pan with little butter or oil and spread the batter. (You will pour the batter half way up the pan)Preheat the oven for 350 F and bake it for  45 to 50 minutes.Check whether it cooked or not by Inserting the toothpick or knife, if it comes out clear means its done perfectly.
Let them cool down for some more minutes and  cut them in to pieces.
