PANEER TIKKA MASALA

Recipe Highlights
Paneer Tikka masala is a rich side dish for chapati and pulav varieties.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 50 Mins
For Paneer Marination
Paneer – 400 gms
Oil – 2 to 4 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Thick Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Redchilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Capsicum - 1
Salt - to taste
For Gravy
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Onion – 1/4
Cinnamon sticks - 2
Cloves - 3
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Redchilli powder – 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
Kasoori Methi – 1 teaspoon
Fresh cream – 1/2 cup
Oil – 2 teapoon
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves


Method
Step :1
Chop onion,tomato,capsicum and paneer into big pieces.Combine Yogurt,one teaspoon oil,ginger garlic paste chilli powder,coriander powder,lemon juice,garam masala,salt. mix it  with onion,tomato,capsicum and paneer. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2: 

Heat a pan with 3 teaspoon of oil and fry the paneer,onion,capsicum and tomato, both sides  till golden brown.Keep it aside.

Step 3:

Heat oil in pan,add cinnamon sticks,cloves and onion and saute till it becomes transparent.Then add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.
Add the tomato puree,add all the spices(chilli powder,kasoori methi,cumin powder)and salt.
When the mixture oozes out oil add little water,bring it to boil.
Finally add fresh cream.Add the fried paneer,onion,tomato and capsicum.Garnish it with coriander leaves

Paneer tikka masala is now ready to serve.
