CABBAGE CARROT FRY / CABBAGE CARROT PORIYAL

Recipe Highlights
Cabbage carrot poriyal is a healthy combination poriyal.It serves 3 to 4 persons.In the poriyal you can also add green peas,beans also.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 30 Mins
Cabbage - 1
Carrot – 2 to 3
Salt – to taste
To Temper Oil – 1 teaspoon
Mustard and Urad dal – 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves – 1 sprig

To Grind
Shredded coconut – 2 teaspoon
Green chilli – 2 to 3
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

Method
Step :1
Chop the cabbage and carrots and Steam it in a Idli vessel or cook it in a pressure cooker for a whistle and drain the excess water.

Step 2:

Grind the ingredients given above in the column “To Grind” and mix it with the cabbage and cook it in a low flame.Heat oil in another pan and add mustard and urad dal. when it splutters add curry leaves mix it with cabbage and carrot.
