Recipe Highlights
Idiyappam is a  popular and healthy  breakfast.We can make idiyappam using rice flour.Here i am using chemba idiyappam podi.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 15 Mins
Chemba idiyappam podi –3 cups
Water – 4 cups
Salt – to taste
Shredded coconut – 1 cup (optional)
Sugar
Oil – as needed to grease the idli plates


Method
Step :1
Take the idiyappam flour in a mixing bowl.add salt to taste.
Add boiling water little by little to the flour and mix it well and make a soft dough.
Cover it with lid and keep it aside for 5 minutes.

Step 2:

Take idli steamer with water and boil it.grease idli plates with little oil.
Divide the dough into small portions.Take the idiyappam press and fill it.Squeeze the dough on to the idli plates in a circular motion.
Steam it for 8 to 10 minutes on a medium flame.
Serve the idiyappam with grated coconut and sugar.

Chemba Idiyappam is now ready to taste.
