FOXNUTS / PHOOL MAKHANA SNACK

Recipe Highlights
Healthy crunchy popcorn .Phool makhana is popped lotus seed.makhana is rich in calcium,protein,carbohydrates,phosphorous etc..
Ingredients Cooking Time : 10 Mins
Foxnuts/ Phool makhana – 4 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Redchilli powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee – 3 tablespoon
Salt – to taste

Method
Step :1
Heat 2 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and roast the phool makhana for 5 to 7 minutes in a medium flame or until it crisp.
Transfer it into a plate.IReduce the flame to low.In the same pan heat the remaining ghee and add the turmeric powder,redchilli powder,pepper powder and salt.Give it a mix.
Add the roasted makhana and toss well to evenly coat.
Once cooled down,transfer to an airtight container.

Now Phool makhana  is now ready to serve.
