GREEN PEAS SUNDAL / PATTANI SUNDAL

Ingredients Cooking Time : 15 Mins
Dried Green peas – 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli – 2 to 4
Mustard and urad dal – 1 teaspoon
Hing – a pinch
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Shredded coconut – 2 tablespoon

Method
Step :1
Soak green peas for overnight and cook  green peas (with salt) in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles.
Once the steam from the pressure cooker completely released remove the green peas vessel out and drain the excess water.

Step 2:

Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,when it starts to crackle add urad dal.
Then add redchilli,hing and curry leaves.then add the green peas and mix it well.Add salt if needed.
Finally add some shredded coconut and mix it well.

Green peas sundal is now ready to serve.
