PIDI KOZHUKATTAI / KARA KOZHUKATTAI

Recipe Highlights
One of the easy evening snack.
Ingredients Cooking Time : 20 Mins
Rice flour – 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Water – 2 cups
To Temper Oil – 2 teaspoon
Mustard  and Urad dal – 1 teaspoon
Channa dal – 1 teaspoon
Redchilli - 2
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Hing – a pinch

Method
Step :1
Heat oil in a pan.Add the item given above in the column “To Temper” one by one and fry it in a medium flame.
Then add water and add salt.
When it comes to boil switch OFF the flame and add it with rice flour.

Step 2:

Mix it well and cover it.Grease your hands with oil take small portion and make desired shapes.
Repeat the same for the entire mixture.

Step 3: 
Arrange it in a steamer (Idli pot) and steam it for 10 minutes.
