BREAD UPMA

Ingredients
Bread slices – 10 to 12
Onion – 1 Large size
Tomato – 1 1/2
Oil – 2 teaspoon
Mustard and urad dal – 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves
Method
Heat oil in a pan add mustard and urad dal. when the mustard started crackling and urad dal turns in to light brown add the cumin seeds.

Then add the chopped onions and saute it with little salt. When it comes to transparent then add turmeric powder and saute it for few seconds. Then add tomato and fry it for 3 to 4  minutes or till the tomatoes gets smashed.

Add chilli powder and saute it for a minute. Cut the bread slice in to cubes(if don’t want the corners of the bread then cut them out)

Add the bread in to the masala and mix it well. Close it with lid, let them be in a low flame for few minutes.

Finally add the chopped coriander leaves.

Bread upma is now ready to serve.
